Victoria Theatre Association, located in the historic Victoria
Theatre at 138 North Main Street in downtown Dayton, is one
of Dayton's premier not-for-profit arts organizations. We present
more than 300 performances for all ages each year, operating
and maintaining three vital arts facilities for the benefit
of the community and the arts organizations that use them, and
further serving the community with a thriving events & catering
business in the heart of downtown Dayton.
Our Vision is to enrich the lives, learning, and leisure of
our community through the performing arts. Our Mission is to
strengthen the economic and artistic vitality of our community
and arts partners through presenting quality and diverse arts
experiences and stewardship of our community’s state-of-the-art
performing venues.
Victoria Theatre Association manages the Victoria Theatre, the
Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, and the
Metropolitan Arts Center, which is home to The Loft Theatre.
In addition to the JPMorgan Chase Broadway Series, Victoria
Theatre Association also presents the Young at Heart Family
Series, the Michelob Ultra Cool Films series, the Universal
1 Variety Series, Star Attractions, and the Physicians for Kids
Discovery Series, which features curriculum-enhanced live theatre
productions for school children. Victoria Theatre Association
is proud of its alliance with the Dayton Opera Association and
its collaboration on The Eichelberger Loft Series 1 with The
Human Race Theatre Company.
